Freeze White
even the series against UW-B with a 3-0 win
The Freeze White came roaring out of the gates
despite a 3 week break from hockey action in high flying
fashion. Meghan Dickoff got the bus rolling as she
tallied her first two goals in a Freeze jersey. The
first was a sniper top shelf shot over the goalie\'s
shoulder, assisted by Barb Pearson, at 7.06 in the 1st
period. This was followed shortly after at the 1.29 mark
with another biscuit in the basket, assisted by Anna
Estes, another new Freeze addition this season. After a
0-0 2nd period, Brittany Strassman capped off the game
at 9.06 in the 3rd by weaving through traffic and
shooting a laser past the hapless opponent goalie. The
Freeze peppered the UW-B goalie with 27 shots while
Rochelle \'The Wall\' Deschane GOT A SHUTOUT, her second
of the season. The Freeze White will have another
extended break but will be back in action on January 9th
against Brew City Red.

DIVISION 2010 CHAMPIONS

Blue 1 just comes up short on the loss to The Rage 2-1
Freeze comes up short as the rage hold on to win.
Rage getting the first 2 goals in the first period.
Colleen Horton gets the only goal for the Freeze
in the 2nd period unassisted. Leah Passman Rudin stopped
38 shots.

Blue 2 Tie the Hotwings 1-1
It was a shooting gallery in Rockford as Blue 2
took the ice vs the Hot Wings. After 2 scoreless periods
Freeze connected with a goal early in the the 3rd as
Loni Broesch scored assisted by Linn and Doody. Not to
be outcone, the Got Winfs answered back with a goal of
their own. After 3 excellent periods of hockey and some
great work in net the score remained tied at one-piece.
